The Milton Boutique Hotel started out as the Hotel Milton in 1967, the idea of husband and wife Umberto and Diana Parcianello, both children of restaurateurs originally from San Donà di Piave, who decided to build a hotel in Jesolo that would serve as a reference point for the numerous vacationers on the Jesolo coast.
At that time Jesolo was yet to become the destination we know today. With great foresight, Umberto and Diana spotted an interesting opportunity and decided to name it after the English poet John Milton, of whom Diana was a passionate reader.

The story of the Milton Boutique Hotel begins with Daniele’s complete renovation, which turned the Hotel Milton into a unique boutique hotel. The Milton’s character was inspired by Daniele’s passion for travel, botanical culture and love of art: an oasis of lush tropical vegetation, embellished with hundreds of handmade Italian artisan objects and handcrafted travel memorabilia from all over the world. Most of the elements of the structure have been created and handcrafted by Daniele together with his son Davide. Their shared vision and passion continue today through a constant search for beauty, craftsmanship and the desire to build on the aesthetic narrative that is proposed to the guest.
